The stress of everyday occurrences is easier to handle than the stress of the unexpected. When we live under relatively stable conditions, we do not experience high levels of tension or struggle in the effort to accomplish our daily activities.

When we undergo dramatic changes or threats to our survival, this brings about great stress and has a strong impact on our mental and emotional well-being.

Therefore, it is useful to develop one’s ability to handle stress and generate strategies for managing the unexpected. By doing so, you will have more stability and groundedness in your life.
