Flexibility

Posted on: March 14, 2014

In our daily lives, we become accustomed to our regular routines and work methods, which is a good thing. This enables us to accomplish our tasks without having to give these activities too much deliberation.

However, the world is rapidly changing and we need to change with it or get left behind. This means we need to be flexible and resilient.

The things we become accustomed to can be difficult to change. Alterations in habit or practice take us out of our comfort zone.

Our set patterns and familiar facts are challenged and this can be frustrating. But it is frustrating only when we allow it to be.

When we are adaptable and amenable, we are better able to adjust and acclimate to things that are new and different.
