Sleep Well Every Night

A surprisingly large number of people do not sleep well at night. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, insufficient sleep is actually an epidemic.

There are many reasons why this is so, but the main reason is an inability to relax and let go.

A lot of people experience restlessness and have difficulty getting to sleep and/or staying asleep. Sometimes it can take hours to settle into a deep rest, and there may be frequent waking.

Sleep problems are generally caused by daytime stress. Therefore, managing and releasing tension during the day is a vital aspect of sleeping well at night.

An evening routine of unwinding and preparing for sleep is also necessary. Once you lie down for the night, focus on your breathing and emptying your mind of all concerns.

Remember that sleep is a time of replenishment. Sleep is for healing.
