You Are Free to Think for Yourself

Posted on: June 5, 2015

Many people feel as though they are forced into thinking, feeling, and behaving in certain prescribed ways. This stems from wanting to be accepted and not wanting to be disruptive. It also stems from viewing power as outside of oneself.

Everyone has the ability to think for him or herself. Everyone has the ability to make choices.

To exercise this capacity, you have to have confidence in yourself. You have to clearly know your own mind and your innate propensity to think independently.

This is not an easy task, since all around us there is pressure to conform. Survival depends on getting along with others. However, your life belongs to you.
