Being Present

Being Present means being in the here and now. Sounds simple enough, yet, how complex it really is! How often do we get distracted by the everyday complexities of life? How often does modern stress get in the way of being in the moment?

When unwanted events get in the way and tension arises, it is easy to lose your footing in the present. When you lose your center and balance, your life gets muddled in the mire. And that’s no fun!

So how do you get back to the present? Through awareness, continuous awareness. When you feel the tug of stress and distraction, be aware of it. Pull yourself back to center and balance.

Remind yourself not to get caught up in the tangle of external drama. Remember who you are and what your purpose is. When you stay in the present, you empower yourself.
