Brainstorming is a concentrated process of creativity. The purpose of brainstorming is to generate productive ideas and answers to problems.

Start by asking “how” and “what” questions, not “why” questions. “Why” is not the goal here. The goal is: How can I change this? What can I do to make this better? How can I accomplish that? What are the best ways to handle that?

Brainstorming is a visionary exercise in which you consider your options and all the possibilities. Write everything down and make lists. By putting your creative thinking skills into practice, you will strengthen your ability to inspire yourself and devise useful solutions.

Once you have put your plans into motion, there must be a continuous effort to maintain them. There is no stopping, although you can take some breaks along the way.

You have to keep feeding fuel to your goals. Goals are hungry creatures that require a lot of energy.

As long as you keep the momentum going, it is easier to stay in that groove. Once you have slowed down and lost your pace, it can be difficult to get the momentum going again.

Use the milestones on your journey to give you incentive. Remember that accomplishment leads to more accomplishment.

Everything happens at a certain pace. Sometimes things move slowly; sometimes things move quickly. In the modern world, we have an inclination for a fast paced momentum. However, this is not how it should be all the time.

Slow movement is not a bad thing. In fact, at times slowness can be exactly what is necessary. But it is important to know the difference between what is slow and what is sluggish.

Sluggish is not a slow pace; it is a restrained or resistant pace. Sluggishness happens when there is a perpetuation of heavy energy or a drainage of energy. It is a waste of valuable time, a lack of enthusiasm, a negative attitude, or a type of malaise.

You know sluggish when you encounter it. You can feel it. Sluggish is what holds you back and keeps you from moving forward. If you really want to get ahead, then get rid of the sluggish.

Research is not just for professors and scientists. Everyone who wants to stay on top in career and business has to do research on a regular basis.

The study of various types of information and trends is not based only on scholarly investigation. In fact, this can be gleaned from a broad range of subject matter. Data is everywhere.

Seeking and gathering pertinent information is vital to the achievement and maintained success of your goals. Research helps you to be more knowledgeable and gives you the tools you need to make informed decisions.

Everyone and everything develops and grows, and this happens within certain boundaries. It is not possible to extend anything without limits. Containment is necessary for healthy progress.

So it is essential to know what your boundaries are and to do this with yourself as well as with other people. Be aware of how much time/energy/money you can logically expend on anything or anyone.

With this understanding, you can set reasonable and workable parameters that allow you to achieve and maintain a strong sense of well-being.

Your spirit is your true self, the essence of your being. It is who you are without all the layers of external interactions, expectations, and limitations.

Becoming who you really are is an evolutionary process. It takes cultivation and a clearing away of negative or unbalanced energies. It takes being responsible for yourself and your own happiness.

Inside of you is a complete soul, a whole being, who needs to be nurtured and allowed to blossom. Listen to your spirit!

We all want to get ahead and make a comfortable place for ourselves in the world. Nobody really wants to be stuck or pushed back. Despite the fact that some people say, “I don’t care,” or “I give up,” no one actually desires that.

The reality is that life is a messy business. It certainly is not easy.

Those who move forward are those who are willing to deal with the messiness of life. Those who get behind are those who allow themselves to be overwhelmed by life’s messiness.

Sometimes it seems as if you are getting behind, even when you have made the effort to get ahead. It is during those times when you must trust in the process and have confidence in your ability to come out on top.
